Maverick MacMillan

Maverick MacMillan is a professional drummer, composer, producer, and educator born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Known for his dynamic playing and stylistic versatility, Maverick currently tours globally as the drummer for Grammy-winning artist Laufey. He has appeared on shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Triple J's Like a Version, and was featured in Laufey's A Night at the Symphony theatrical release in IMAX theaters.

Maverick's musical foundation was built in LA, and he later studied in New York City at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. His background blends improvised music, jazz, pop, rock, and cinematic composition.

In addition to his work as a touring musician, Maverick is an active composer and producer, collaborating across genres. Passionate about music education, he offers private drum lessons, drawing from his professional experience to guide and inspire students.
